Here Ye, Here Ye : Interview with ClasstreetTV
When it comes to eccentricity, OSIXNINE is the streetwear label that popped up in our minds. Best known for it’s colourful and edgy designs, founder Yasmeen Zainal found the idea of creating OSIXNINE from altering and tailoring her own clothes due to her petite size. With much encouragement from her buddies, the brand was born in 2006 with a physical store in Subang Jaya.
Besides designing for her brand, Yasmeen also known as Miss Osixnine from her rapper days, is also a graphic designer hence why OSIXNINE’s designs are totally original and always full of surprises.
Now, strictly online, OSIXNINE is back with a new addition of a menswear line, Royalé, which focuses on masculine tailoring with an urbane finish to feed every modern men out there (even ladies, if you’re into menswear). Set to paint the town orange with Yasmeen’s creativity, we’re totally pumped that Yasmeen is up to collaborate with Classtreet as we’ve always admired her fresh take on streetwear.
OSIXNINE will be coming down to Classtreet’s official launch this 30th August at Black Box, Publika as one of our 24 vendors. In the meantime, you can visit Miss Osixnine’s baby, OSIXNINE, at her online store.
